La I Bienal de Escuchar tuvo lugar en IF - Investigaciones del Futuro entre el 15 de julio y el 1 de agosto de 2021 en resonancia con The Listening Biennial. La presente edición tiene el doble propósito de dar cuenta de las actividades realizadas al mismo tiempo que expandirlas a partir de una serie de textos producidos por los artistas participantes.

The Listening Biennial está concebida como un proyecto global y apunta a una construcción curatorial de resonancias compartidas y manifestaciones polivocales. La primera edición se puso en marcha en 2021 y contó con la participación de 30 artistas internacionales presentados a través de una red de catorce organizaciones, sedes y colectivos asociados.

Investigaciones del Futuro es una institución inespecífica llevada adelante por artistas y arquitectos en Villa Lynch, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Edition notes

The I Bienal de Escuchar took place at IF - Investigaciones del Futuro in Buenos Aires between July 15 and August 1, 2021 in resonance with The Listening Biennial. The present edition has the dual purpose of reporting on the activities carried out and at the same time expanding them through a series of texts produced by the participating artists.

The Listening Biennial is conceived as a global project and aims at a curatorial construction of shared resonances and polyvocal manifestations. The first edition was launched in 2021 and featured the participation of 30 international artists presented across a network of fourteen partner organizations, venues and collectives.
